What Customers Say About Uniden MHS450 VHF Handheld Marine Radio:

Over there, marine radios are used as telephones since there are so many islands you hop to and from in your rental boat. I'll give it a good test this June during our annual trek to Abaco, Bahamas. I use it for hailing cabs, making dinner reservations, checking on marinas and anything else where you would normally use a telephone. I got this to replace an older, larger radio. So far, so good.
It leaves me with a sense of insuranceon the water.Rick Wisz, Pequannock, NJ This product is great for getting the current weather at home or traveling to the marina, before you get on the water. I haven't needed to call SeaTow for help yet.
Great to keep with you as a last resort while snowmachining/hunting in bush Alaska. A great size for packing and a very sturdy little radio.
